Young Adult & Teen Programs
The Newnan Carnegie Library seeks to engage our young adult community in enjoyable opportunities for connection and leadership through inclusive programming as well as by developing spaces and materials directed by their interests. We are always looking for ways to expand our YA program and material offerings. We are currently focusing on growing our YA literature and graphic novels collections. We have offered programs including life skills, Rube Goldberg device construction, creative cooking, movie makeup special effects, juggling and magicians, puppet making and playwriting, comic book drawing workshops, and creative writing workshops. We would also like to expand our teen-led programming. If you would be interested in leading a program at the Carnegie, please fill out the application located here. Our staff will contact you if we feel your program meets our patrons’ needs. To see our current programming please visit our calendar page.
