Lunch & Learn: How FDR Vanquished Polio

Please join the Carnegie Library and the Newnan Carnegie Library Foundation as award-winning biographer Kathryn Smith gives a presentation on Roosevelt’s time in Warm Springs and how he led the fight to vanquish polio. Kathryn is the biographer of Roosevelt’s secretary Marguerite “Missy” LeHand, who accompanied him to Warm Springs on most of his visits and helped him establish the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation there.

**Registrants are invited to bring their own lunch to the event. Doors open at 11:30 am. Program begins at 12 noon sharp and ends at 1:00 pm.
