Join the Newnan Carnegie Library and Christy Barker, Curator and Director of Education and Programing at the Biblical History Center, for an amazing free program where she will be discussing archaeology in Israel, focusing on some interesting archaeological sites that are located in the land of Israel and associated with Biblical History. Sites such as Tel Dan, a center of ancient idol worship, the Qumran plateau, the site on the edge of the Dead Sea surrounded by the caves containing the Dead Sea Scrolls, Tel Jericho, and Ashkelon, the Philistine capitol city.
